What causes UTI?

About 90% of Urinary tract infections are caused by a type of bacteria called Escherichia Coli (commonly known as E. Coli).   • Drink lots of water
  • Empty the bladder completely as soon as you need to go
  • Wipe from front to back
  • Urinate and cleanse the genital after sex
  • Always keep genital area dry by wearing cotton under wear and loose fitting cloth
