What causes UTI?

UTI can affect any part of the urinary system (renal system), the severity of the infection is determined according to the location of the infection. The more farther up the urinary tract, the more serious will be the infection. There is an increased risk for urinary tract infections in pregnant women because of the changes in the urinary tract.
